How to recognize a crypto scam

Being conned is a horrible feeling and a terrible way to lose money.
So recently I confronted a crypto scammer to understand these people more and share it with you all.
The person I spoke to was an old lady or portrayed as such from USA.I started with a normal conversation sharing my knowledge of the financial markets. After a while she offered me an opportunity where I could make good enough profit through crypto mining. Now here's the lesson. It may seem fishy to everyone even to those with zero knowledge of that segment. But its that way they approach you. They can somehow convince you to believe them. And when everything seems to be perfectly fine thats when you need to take a step back.
Later in our conversation she asked me to pay her via bitcoins to start earning. Although I exposed her I got to know these people will say anything and anything to steal from you.
Signs to look in a scam
1 Guaranteed Returns
If someone claims to make you hunderds and thousands of dollars in a short period of time somethings wrong or else they would be on Forbes if it were true
2 Use of multiple platforms
They will often ask you to make a payment from one platform deposit in another and withdraw from another.
3. Link to any legit company
Always look if the person is linked to any legit and registered company. Quite often they are not. They may claim to be but will have no proof of it or fake proof

Always make sure if you come across such people to report them to the officials as soon as possible. You might save an innocent from losing all their hard earned money
